As a corporate officer of Nanophase Technologies, Inc., Mr. Kelly participated in the successful IPO of the firm in 1997 on the NASDAQ Exchange. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. A Viet Nam veteran, he served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps in Southeast Asia. He is an active member of the University of Chicago Military Affinity Group.
