Harry Lakin is a graduate of the Arizona State University, Hugh Downs School of Communication. Mr. Lakin did post-graduate studies at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, California. Harry has formed, owned and managed numerous businesses during his career including organizations in retail, service and transportation. Trained by the Arizona Attorney General’s office as a Mediator, Harry is an expert in fostering inter-personal communication and dispute resolution. Mr. Lakin, through his company, Hire Capacity, is an authorized representative for Organizational Management System (OMS) in the Texas market. Hire Capacity sells and implements OMS, consults with clients on program applications such as recruitment, hiring, and employee retention, and trains client managers and staff in Maximizing Human Performance and Interaction Styles.
Mr. Lakin also spends a good deal of time giving back to his community. He has served as Chairman of the Arizona State Personnel Board (appointed by then Governor Bruce Babbitt), on the State Board of the Arizona Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, The MetrOrg Board for the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Phoenix. Now a resident of Austin, Texas he is currently involved with charities such as A.G.E. (Austin Groups for the Elderly) and on the Austin Board ofThe BeHive which sponsors after-school educational programming for disadvantaged youth.
